You might be thinking Patreon is cheaper. It is, if memberships are all you sell. Paid messages and tips often bring in more than the fee difference.

You might be thinking my fans will not switch. They do not have to leave anything. They add one membership with an email.

You might be thinking this is an adult site. It is not. Adult pages live in a separate verified section.

Safety and verification

Checked people, reviewed posts, a walled off 18+ section

Fans pay with confidence when they know who is on the other side. Creators earn with confidence when their work is not next to something they never signed up for.

How we keep it safe Two trust and safety specialists reviewing content on monitors in a calm office

Identity checked

Every creator is verified with a government ID and a selfie before the first payout.

Reviewed before it goes live

Every post is reviewed, and every upload is compared with lists of known illegal material.

Zero tolerance

Anything involving a minor is removed, the account is closed and the case is reported to the authorities.

Adult stays separate

Verified 18+ creators only, in their own section that fans must opt in to after an age check.

Switch from Patreon or OnlyFans

Move your members in an afternoon

  1. 1. Copy your tiers and perks as they are, so members get the same thing.
  2. 2. Post your fanbase.org link with a 3 or 12 month bundle discount for switchers.
  3. 3. Run both pages for one billing cycle, then point everything to FanBase.

Questions

What creators ask before they start

Anything else? Write to support@fanbase.org.

Is FanBase only for adult content?

No. FanBase is built for musicians, coaches, chefs, gamers, podcasters, artists, educators and influencers. Adult creators are identity verified and kept in a separate, age gated 18+ section that never appears in mainstream categories, search or the homepage.

How much do I keep and when do I get paid?

You keep 80 percent of every payment. Earnings clear 7 days after each payment, and once your cleared balance reaches $50 you can withdraw. Payouts go out every week to a bank account or a crypto wallet.

What does it cost to start?

Nothing. Joining is free and there is no monthly plan for creators. FanBase earns a 20 percent fee only when a fan pays you.

How is this different from Patreon?

On top of memberships you can sell paid messages, pay per view posts and take tips, so your most engaged fans can support you more than a flat tier allows. Payouts are weekly and you can export your fan list any time.

Can my fans see adult content by accident?

No. The Adult 18+ section is a separate catalogue. A fan only sees it after confirming their age and turning it on in settings, and adult pages carry an age check of their own.

Can I bring my Patreon members?

Yes. Set up tiers that match what members already get, share your fanbase.org link, and offer a 3, 6 or 12 month bundle with a discount to make switching easy.

How do fans pay?

By card or crypto. Memberships renew monthly until the fan cancels, and access lasts until the end of the paid period. Fans can also keep a wallet balance for tips, paid messages and pay per view posts.

Who owns my content and my fan list?

You do. FanBase only gets a license to host and show your content to the fans you choose. Your fan list and earnings export to CSV whenever you want.
